Technophobe supplies both plasma and LCD screens of all sizes from all the major manufacturers such as Panasonic, Sony, Samsung etc... We obviously have our favourite's and of these we think that the latest standout screens are the ultra slim screens from JVC, the latest LCD screens from Philips (including the new ultra-wide screen) and for the purest the latest VX100 series from Panasonic is just amazing for the latest HD and SD content.
We also offer a complete flat screen installation service that is second to none. We will wall mount your screen, hide all cables even cutting them into the wall and plastering over them if necessary to make sure no unsightly cables are seen, then finally your screen is calibrated to ensure that it is operating correctly and at the best performance.

Lighting Design
At Technophobe we offer a full lighting Design service. This is most popular with our clients that we are installing cinemas for. The lighting design is a very important part of the movie experience - lights dim but stay on at a low level where needed (away from the screen) to enable you to see the exit or more importantly your drink and popcorn. We also use this knowledge to design lighting systems for total whole house and apartment building control to wardrobes.

Apple Mac Based Muti-Room Systems
One of the most popular requests we get asked for at Technophobe is a music system that incorporates Apple's iTunes software or iPod's. We thought long and hard about this, building an easy to use system or adding this to an existing system is not easy as it seems due to the way Apple products are designed to be primarily connected to Apple products. | This means that typically we may install a projector for a true large screen cinematic feeling, a 5.1 surround sound speaker system with the latest electronics powering them to create an enveloping sonic experience. Both audio and video are precisely calibrated by own engineers to ensure that they are performing to the highest standards. |
| A remote control system to make these complex systems a breeze to operate for all the family is a must for any Home Theatre. It is recommended that the rooms lighting system is redesigned so that there is no compromise in performance for the projector which typically require a darkened room. The lighting design may also include blackout blinds to keep sunlight out when watching a movie, the lights and blinds can then have their operation automated and be controlled by the same remote control that will be custom programmed to control the rest of the cinema. |
