| T+A was founded in 1978. They began with the construction of loudspeakers for demanding listeners, and especially of types exploiting the transmission line principle, which they constantly developed and refined. Moving on to add active, regulated speakers. From the expertise gained with these products they were able to develop the first amplifiers and pre-amplifiers, and by 1988 T+A had expanded the line to include a complete series of High-End electronic units. Over the last few years T+A have concentrated increasingly on the development of digital components including High-End CD players, converters and fully digital active loudspeakers. In 1997 they embraced the world of home cinema, and since then various surround components have joined the range. T+A offers a complete palette of products, and continues to insist on a system philosophy which closely integrates all the components of a system, allowing the whole arrangement to be controlled by a single remote control handset.
